These wheels can be either fitted to a lightsource at the time of manufacture or you can order them afterwards and self-install them.

UFO Twinkle Wheels

Twinkle wheels are available for use on all models of Aurora Decorative tungsten halogen and also for the ranges of Compact Decorative, Ultima, and Twin Effect metal halide light sources.

Twinkle wheels are an alternative to a colourwheel.

Particulary effective when used in star effect ceilings, twinkle wheels add a shimmering / twinkling effect to the light output when used with small fibre.

UFO Dimmer Wheels

Dimmer wheels provide a means of dimming the light output in metal halide light sources.

Dimming is operated by letting the wheel turn until the light output is at the required level and then stopping the motor which controls the wheel. This is achieved by having a separate electrical feed to the motor. The dimming is uni-directional. Use with fibre that has an active diameter of 3mm and over.
