Traditional Star Effects
One of the main features of fibre optic lighting is its ability to light a number of points from one light source.
One of the best demonstrations of this is shown in star effect ceilings and floors.
Extremely difficult to achieve with conventional lighting methods, fibre optics make it easy to implement this stunning feature in almost any location, indoors or out.
Universal Fibre Optics supply a range of fittings which can be used to provide star effects in ceilings, floors and almost any other surface:
Sparkle Flush Lens
UV Stabilised polycarbonate fittings, suitable for use in floors and decking, indoors and out.
Star Lens
Makes it easier to drill the holes required for small fibres while giving a slightly softer look to the light.
Mushroom Lens
Small round fittings with a hole all the way through. Domed profile.
Star Density Examples
The diagram below allows you to get an idea of how the density of stars will look in a one metre square area.
Each square represents a one metre square area, whilst the number in the square tells you the number of stars in the area.
